Australian high-end manufacturer DEQX has announced that its HDP-5 and PreMate Plus are now Roon Ready certified and that Roon-enabled HDP-5 and PreMate Plus units will ship from the 1st September, 2017.

November 2016. High-end audio manufacturer Devialet announced their intention to enter the vinyl business. In collaboration with music Fondamenta, previously unheard live recordings would be pulled from the vaults, tidied up and pressed to 180gm vinyl in limited runs of 900 (at over €120 a pop).
For the ultra-wealthy, extremely limited edition lacquers offer up only a few plays before wearing out would sell for anything between five and eight grand. The codec known as MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is clearly in its ascendancy. The Big Three record labels have signed on, Tidal is streaming hundreds of MQA-encoded albums, and there’s a steadily expanding amount of audio gear capable of handling MQA, at all price-points.
