After Sony pulled out entirely, EA is taking a very different approach to E3 2019, the company announced today.
Instead of a press keynote that shows gamers what they have to look forward to in a single sitting, EA will instead offer multiple live streams throughout the weekend leading up to the show.

- Plus, we've got all the latest on Apex Legends
- Not sure where to start? Here's a beginner's guide to Apex Legends

Integrated Amplifiers of the Year Constellation Inspiration Integrated 1.0 $13,500 The firm’s most affordable effort and the third entry in Constellation’s Inspiration Series, the 100Wpc Integrated 1.0 has the sonic character of a “control” amp in the most exacting and incisive sense of the word. Leaving nothing unexplored, it latches onto an audio signal with a death grip, not letting go until it reveals and resolves every sliver and shred of the program material. Its general tonal signature is dead-on neutral, its personality ever-so-slightly shaded to the cooler side of the spectrum, as befits a solid-state amp that doesn’t give …… Read the full article
Using a series of graphs to display data sourced anonymously through its GeForce Experience app, Nvidia posits that, unless you’re using one of its latest GeForce RTX graphics cards and a 144Hz Nvidia G-Sync monitor, you’re playing these games at a disadvantage.
So much so, in fact, that Nvidia directly links higher kill-death ratios – a figure measuring how many times you kill players versus how many times you’re killed – to more powerful (and considerably more expensive) gaming hardware.… Read the full article
Where business is concerned, it goes without saying that keeping your finances in order is imperative. Not only is it necessary in order to ensure that invoices are sent out and paid on time, and to help with forecasting cash flow, but detailed financial records are critical when the taxman comes knocking.

Publisher’s note: The following article, from the early days of Compact Disc, is presented with no claim for absoluteness. (In fact, just as we go to press in the spring of 1986, we received a manuscript from Philip Greenspun, Product Review Editor of Computer Music Journal (Cambridge, MA), who had precisely the opposite result when comparing CD to analog versions of the same recording, though it was unclear that his test procedures were as thorough as in the tests by these authors, footnote 1.) The tests described are neither single- nor double-blind, and the author’s decision to forego conversation while listening to the same products does not by any means guarantee lack of mutual influence—especially because their musical tastes are so well known to each other.… Read the full article
Ask anyone in the street what they think of when they hear the word “loudspeaker” and odds are they’ll describe a wooden box with moving-coil drivers sitting in its front. But ask a Stereophile reader and it’s quite possible that he or she’ll describe a large, flat panel reminiscent of a room divider: in our 1989 reader survey, the most widely represented brand of loudspeaker was Magnepan, with a significant lead over Infinity and Vandersteen, the second and third most common speaker brands.… Read the full article
Samsung, one of the world’s most prominent electronics manufacturers, and leader in the development of Blu-ray, has announced it will no longer produce and distribute Blu-ray players in the US. That announcement also included Samsung’s acknowledgement that it has completely abandoned plans to roll out a new, high-end 4K ultra high definition (UHD) Blu-ray player originally scheduled for release this year.
It’s shocking news from a company that has been a major backer of the Blu-ray high-definition media format since its introduction over a decade ago.… Read the full article
