Nikon Confirms There Will Be A New Pro D-SLR

By | September 4th, 2019|Categories: AV Hub|

It’s not really a big surprise given this camera would have been in development when the Nikon Z mount full-35mm format mirrorless system was launched, but the camera maker has confirmed that there will be a next-generation professional D-SLR to succeed the D5.

Nikon D6. Photo: Nikon.

Details are non-existent beyond that the new camera will be called the D6 and the released product photo shows that it will be very similar in size and styling to the D5. What’s likely is that Nikon will have worked on the autofocusing performance – both via the optical viewfinder and in live view – to keep the core audience of sports/action photographers happy.… Read the full article

An Interview With Dan D’Agostino

Dan D'Agostino podcast interview

From Krell to Dan D’Agostino amplifiers, Daniel has made his mark on high end audio as a whole. His large and powerful amplifiers are known for their beautiful casework as much as they are for their musicality and acoustic dance.

Dan recently sat down with the Occasional Podcast for a full one-on-one interview. The result was some good insight into Mr. D’Agostino’s history, where he’s going, and what he has learned along the way. It’s worth a listen if you have a little drive time this week or are jumping on a flight to the RMAF audio show in Denver.… Read the full article

The latest addition to Amazon's range of Fire TV streaming devices is an interesting one, given that it isn't a streaming device at all. The next iPhone SE’s size will be expanded from the 4-inch screen in the original device to be similar to the 4.7-inch display on the iPhone 8, sources told the Nikkei Asian Review. They asserted it will have an LCD screen to save costs (much like the iPhone XR), but will pack ‘most of the same components’ as are coming in this year’s flagship iPhones.… Read the full article
