AWS Data Exchange brings third-party data to AWS

AWS has announced the launch of a new service called AWS Data Exchange that allows customers of Amazon's cloud computing service to securely find, subscribe to and use third-party data in the cloud.

Over 1,000 products containing data are now available in the AWS Marketplace from more than 80 qualified data providers. In its press release announcing the new service, AWS highlighted a few of these qualified data providers and AWS customers will soon be able to access third-party data from Reuters, Change Healthcare, Dun & Bradstreet, TransUnion, Foursquare, Pitney Bowes and others.… Read the full article

Olympus rumored to shutter its camera business – here’s why we think it won’t

UPDATE: Olympus has issued official statements to two online publications clearing up any doubt that it's closing its imaging arm. Speaking to both Photo Focus and Sina Finance News, Olympus has made it clear that the camera division is important to the company and it will continue developing its consumer product line. We have updated our original article to reflect that change.

We ignored it at first, but the rumors about Olympus closing down its imaging division (aka 'the camera side of things') within the next eight months are picking up momentum – even though there are few actual facts (let alone any kind of official statement) to back them up.

Roku’s Black Friday deals include an $18 player and a 40-inch Full HD TV for $98

Roku has announced its upcoming Black Friday deals that will include a substantial discount to its entire family of players – the return of the Roku SE at just $18 and a new series of Roku TVs made exclusively for Walmart.

According to information sent to TechRadar, we’re looking at a $20 discount to the Roku Streaming Stick+ ($29.99 on Black Friday); a $50 discount to the Roku Ultra ($49.99) and a $30 discount to the Roku Smart Soundbar ($149.99).

Everwild is a new Xbox exclusive that looks a lot like Breath of the Wild

During X019, Sea of Thieves developer Rare announced its new exclusive IP for Xbox One – and it's giving us serious Breath of the Wild vibes.

The new game, Everwild, was shown off in a short trailer that showcased a magical world that seems to be inhabited by quite a few interesting creatures. Project xCloud game streaming is coming to Windows 10 with loads of new games

While all eyes may be on what's in store from the next Xbox, the so-called Project Scarlett, it's not the only hand Microsoft has in the next-gen gaming space. It's also pushing its Project xCloud game streaming service – which is set to get considerably better in the coming months.
