The Samsung Galaxy launch event kicks off today at 5am PST, 8am EST, 1pm BST and we'll be live from Samsung's satellite Milan, Italy event to bring you everything you need to know about the new handsets.

Samsung's main event is actually being held in Bangkok, Thialand, where company CEO DJ Koh will take the stage to unveil the firm's latest A series of smartphones, tipped to be mid-to-high end devices.

Mid-range phones will get a Huawei P30 camera trick as early as this year

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro have impressed us with their photography prowess, but later this year it won't just be the flagship phones boasting impressive zoom features.

Smartphone SoC (system-on-chip) maker Qualcomm has just announced its latest chips, with the Snapdragon 655 and Snapdragon 730 ready to power the next generation of mid-range handsets.

Samsung Galaxy A90 leak points to a huge screen and powerful pop-up cameras

The Samsung Galaxy A90 is tipped to be the South Korean firm's next top-tier, mid-range handset and a fresh leak has potentially given us more insight into its specs.

According to a post on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, the rumored Galaxy A90 will pack 6.7-inch Full HD+ display, 3,700mAh battery and a triple camera setup comprising of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP camera and a ToF (time-of-flight) sensor.

The post also claims the cameras will be housed in a "pop-up rotary design", which co-insides with previous leaks of the handset which also point to a pop-up design, allowing Samsung to feature an all-screen design with no notch or punch-hole.… Read the full article

Another Samsung foldable phone patent appears, this time with a wearable twist

Samsung folding phone patents are appearing thick and fast at the moment. Only yesterday did we see one revealing a device similar to the Huawei Mate X, and today we've been treated to something potentially more exciting.
