Acurus 12.1CH Muse Processor & M8 8CH Amplifier Targets Multi-Media Rooms

The American audio brand Acurus brought several new and newly upgraded products to the recent CEDIA trade show in San Diego. Acurus and its parent company, Indy Audio Labs, announced earlier this year that the premium Acurus ACT 4 home theater processor would receive an update in the second quarter of 2018, and the new 20-channel version of the ACT 4 was on display in all its glory at the expo. Acurus Updates ACT 4 Atmos/DTS:X AV Processor to 20 Channels

Acurus RackIndy Audio Labs, LLC, owners of the high-performance American-made audio brands, Acurus and Aragon, announced an upgrade to their ACT 4 13.3 processor to 20 channels with up to four additional configurable channels for maximum layouts of 9.5.6 or 9.7.4, .  The original ACT 4 released in 2015 and upgraded in March of 2017 embodied Acurus revolutionary approach to home theater. At its introduction, the ACT 4 was virtually the only option under $20K to break the 12-channel native decoding barrier.

StormAudio AV Immersive Sound Processors and Multi-Channel Amplifiers Preview

For the last three years high end immersive audio company StormAudio was owned by Auro Technologies, maker of Auro-3D, an immersive sound format for music and home theater like Dolby Atmos and DTS: X. On December 1, 2017, StormAudio made its final transition to become part of the Immersive Audio Technologies group. This buyout overseen by Yves Trelohan & Saffelberg Investments gives the luxury immersive hardware line the power to stand on its own and diversify its technology.
