EISA. Prior to September 2018, it meant European Image and Sound Association. The abbreviation now reads Expert Imaging and Sound Association. As the name change-up suggests, EISA no longer operates with a strictly European purview. Its expanded scope casts it as a conglomeration of some of the world’s finest tech journalists, in the last two years adding members from Australia, Canada, India, Japan and the USA.
