Auralic – RMAF 2018

There is always something interesting brewing with Auralic at audio shows, this year at RMAF was no different. The digital component and amplifier company partnered with YG Acoustics which is fast becoming something to look forward to as we make our way across the show circuit.

We really got a sense of the big show ponies from YG at T.H.E. Show on the west coast this year in the form of the Sonja XV Jr. but the Hailey 1.2 loudspeakers ($42,800/pair) on display in the Auralic room also fit the bill nicely.… Read the full article

AURALiC VEGA G2 DAC review

The VEGA G2 DAC (US$5699) is AURALiC’s high-performance replacement of the original VEGA – a DAC well received by audiophiles since its release in 2013. For the G2, the Chinese-cum-American company went back to the drawing board to create a DAC that went far beyond its predecessor’s performance and feature set. AURALiC has also announced a VEGA G1 DAC (US$3799) as a lower cost alternative to the VEGA G2.

AURALiC announces high-end G Series streaming components

AURALiC hit my inbox today with some big news regarding their current lineup: it’s changed dramatically. The company is unveiling the new G Series ARIES G2 streaming transporter ($3,899 USD, $5,295 CAN),and VEGA G2 streaming DAC ($5,699 USD, $7,740 CAN) at Munich’s High End show this week with availability by September this year. The all-new SIRIUS G2 upsampling processor, and LEO G2 Femto Reference Clock are scheduled to hit by the end of 2017.
