By | July 12th, 2018|Categories: Audioholics|Tags: |

When reviewing the Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 DTS:X, the first challenge I had was deciding what category to put this product in. I know Nakamichi would like to call this a soundbar, as they featured the Shockwafe Ultra in their recent CES 2018 “High-End Soundbar Battle”. James Loudspeaker LR-S Passive Sound Bar Aims for Audiophile Performance

By | March 8th, 2018|Categories: Audioholics|Tags: |

By | March 1st, 2018|Categories: Audioholics|Tags: |

Audiophiles today install sound systems in every room in their house, and every TV in every room has to have some sort of sound system or home theater to play your tunes, shows, video games or movies.  The problem has always been:

a.    Do I setup multiple systems in multiple rooms (price?)

b.    Do I setup one system with different zones to multiple rooms (crazy cable runs?)

Wireless audio company SONOS decided to give you an option “c”. Have stand alone wireless speaker systems that easily work together to provide music or home theater sound to all parts of your home.

By | February 7th, 2018|Categories: Audioholics|Tags: |

So, you bought a brand new UHD TV for Christmas now you realize the built-in speakers are not up to your audioholic caliber.
